You definitely have something to work with, hang in there with us. That 440 can be made into anything you want. The transmission whatever it is may be good for someone else.

Thanks Jerry! Yes, the transmission was thrown in as a rebuilder so I can sell it on craigslist and use the money to buy the right one for the car. I'm a little worried about the motor. When I drained the oil, about 8 quarts of a watery oil mixture poured out. The motor has signs of rust on the intake and exhaust. I hope the block and crank are usable.
