Help! Rear seat belt anchor bolts

I have a 1969 charger SE. Does anyone know what size the anchor bolts are for the rear bench seat? From what I have found and read it may be 7/16-20, does that seem right? I already purchased a set of seatbelts for the rear and found the bolts to not be the correct size.

The bolts will have a shoulder on them. An ordinary bolt won’t do. I imagine they would be the same as 67, most likely the same for several years. I have a few of them that I could spare, if you can’t locate some nearby.

Mine had no washers, wouldn’t hurt if you did use some.

For the shouldered bolts, do the seat belts sit over top of the shoulder or below it?

As Remcharger said. No washers required. The shoulder makes allowance for the belt to swivel to suit the occupant.

Try the bolt in the seat belt.
