Now I know Mopars are bad about cold starting, but on my 76 Cordoba it takes starting it multiple times while giving it gas before it will finally stay running and even then I usually have to floor it to get it driving at first. Once the engine is warmed up it won't have a problem starting back up and idle. This is really annoying at times especially the other day when I gave up on getting it to stay running in the cold weather. Any help would be appreciated it.

have you kept your vap canister hooked up-?
how do your plugs look?
What mods have been done other than reg maintainance?
could be a carb issue-

Sounds like carb issues.
What type on it now?
Is it a manual or electronic chock?
The pump inside the carb could be bleeding off making an intial start up hard.
Had a Holley that for me to start up. Had to prime it to get it started. Once started it ran alright.

Pull the air cleaner before starting it and work the throttle. If no gas is sprayed, then that could your problem.
