Help with installing a new trunk pan

I imported a 70 RR all original panels except the trunk pan. It is a 2 piece pan that was installed incorrectly. There are no spot welds, only stitch weld that are too far apart. The extensions are original and fine
A panelbeater has asked me to get the specification for correct installation so he can show the certifier who also has the last say. Without the certification the car will not get compliance
I have tried google but no luck. Is anyone able to assist

There are a few articles on the web, here is one i found. pretty much they cut out the old one. lay the new pan in trace the braces from under the car and drill holes in the pan and plug weld them to the bracing. This was how I did my floor pan. On the braces you should have pre existing spot welds. When you drill the new pan for welding just keep the holes spaced like they are on the bracing.
