About 22-23 years ago I got a "built" 1966 383 in a trade deal. I disassembled, honed the cylinders, and installed new bearing on the rods and crank. It runs great, but I was not able to identify the pistons from it back then. I suppose it really does not matter, but curiosity is still getting the better of me. They are 60 over "Jahns" pistons with a slight dome and valve reliefs (See pictures). I could not find any other identifiers. I did not measure installed height over deck at the time. I'm wondering if anyone has a resource to narrow down the probable piston specs? They have to be at least 30+ years old, because the engine had been sitting around for awhile when I got it two decades ago. FYI - they were paired with an Erson cam TQ30H, which is still available today: .465 lift / 310 duration (226 @ .050).
