maybe its better i post this in here instead of restoration area

can anyone shed some light?

can anyone tell me if the inner fender to firewall brace is supposed to have a space between the inner fender and the brace at the bottom? if i move the brace down the hole in the brace will be partially covered by the frame rail. not sure if i need to modify it and rebend it at the proper place or there should be a gap or its ok if part of the hole is covered?

No, the gap is not supposed to be there, the original sheet metal stampings would fit together a little better there. Not uncommon for aftermarket parts to have to be re-worked some to achieve a proper fit. That said, not seeing a clutch pedal torque shaft pivot mounting bracket on the frame rail. A slight miss alignment/blockage of its access hole would not make a deference or be seen once the cover is in place.

Anyone happen to know the size of bolts for bumper brackets to frame rail size?
