good combo on the roadrunner dude, got a quick question you are they all pillarless? i have seen a few that look to have large pillars between the door glass and quarter window or is that on the belvedere and satelite?

I woulda bet on hot glue

Hey mate so you mean hot glue as in they glued a trim piece over the glass?
And also you sold a guy in the northern territory in aus a car?

Good luck Mate! Welcome!

Thanks mate just looking for one is a bit tough and i am afraid of buying one privatly off ebay because who knows what your getting

Yup. I've owned two Lil Red Express trucks, the second of which went to the N.T. last year. Nice guy. Sent me a few Aussie license plates for the wall.

Im sorry I really dont understand, whats a lil red express truck? is it a roadrunner? lol sorry for my ignorance but there rare in aus and i dont really know much about them apart from i love the shape and they come with a 440 6 pack.

Welcome! I have a 70 Road Runner 6-pack coupe. RM21V (Road Runner, Coupe, 440 six barrel). Not for sale, though - I'm still having way too much fun with it! I would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Lil Red Express

Ahh thankyou now I get it

Great to have ya' here..........Keep us posted on your car purchase!

thanks mate will do

nope, you had your choice of a road runner coupe (with pillar) or road runner hardtop (without Pillar). On the GTX you could only have the hard top. If you check the serial numbers, they will tell you which is which: RM21 is the coupe, RM23 is the hardtop. From what I've seen the '70 coupe is the rarer of the two.

Shoot, if you find one, let us know, there's a good chance someone here is close to the car, and maybe we could find someone to go take a look at it for you before you make any commitments.

Welcome to the gang.

thankyou for the info, so there is a such a thing as a pillard version glad you worded me up i definatly want the hard top version. Also thanks for the kind offer to check cars out for me, you guys are legends.

as above mate thanks heaps so you gotta fill me in what are they like to drive and how good does a 440 6 pack go?

Six packs can run like poo poo IF whoever is working on it doesn't know what they're doing. BUT, if you build one to run in Factory stock (read blueprint the motor) then they can fly, running easy mid-high 12's in the quarter.

sweet so its just a matter of getting them set up right do they stay in tune or are you constantly fiddiling with them?

Also thinking i might just have to buy a satelite and make a gtx mock up as real gtx's and roadrunners are very dear by the time you add up exchange rate and shipping
