ha you guys are funny.. anything that puts a smile on your dial is all good! but seriously i have looked at sites like wiki and such about chargers but cant make out what dodge was up to with diff options eg., S/E, R/T rally package (what is brougham?)etc.. I have a zillion pix of my car being restored and it had white gauge faces and the se emblems on interior doors as it has now but cant find another car same? it also doesnt have charger badges on doors or boot (i mean the 'trunk") are these missing? or did some car options not have them? sorry bout all the questions.

I'm sorry Pepper but I'm not well versed on the 3rd gen chargers but there's several here who are and will come along in short order to help you out. You have an excellent looking version to be sure and I hope you hang around.

I can answer some of your questions. I have a 73 Charger SE and its virtually identical to the 74. Do you have your fender tag and/or broadcast sheet? I can tell you just by looking at the pictures that you seat covers are not stock, same as the white faced instruments. The door panels are also custom. Your emblems on the doors and trunk are missing. It depends what size engine you have in it and carb options as to what size diff you have. I have a 400cid 2bbl carb and the standard diff size was 8 1/4 inch. You could specify a 8 3/4 as an option if you wanted. If you have a 400 4bbl or 440 then 8 3/4 was standard. A 318 had 8 1/4 as well. Sure grip (LSD) was also an option.

These pictures are of my friends 74 SE. Its still wearing its original paint and everything is 100% stock. Hope this helps and if you need any more help please sing out.
