Easter of 1988 we drove out to Medicine Hat picked up a driver 66 Charger and a non driver.
I was pulling the non driver on a tow bar, behind our full time 76 4x4 Blazer. Wife was following in the other Charger.
We went up Hwy 41 that runs to 7 We headed North as we came to a long valley, the tail shaking the dog going downhill. Thankfully that highway is very wide. I used the whole width, planning on going straight in if needed.
Mean while there was an early 70’s Grand Marquis that slowed down on the other side of the valley. I got it sorted out, met him at the bottom. He flashed his lights and gave me a thumbs up.
I never pulled a vehicle on a tow bar with a vehicle that had basically a square wheel base after that. I have had great success flat towing with our 4Runners.
Ironically a fellow from the Hat came to Saskatoon and bought a yellow 66 Charger body from me a few years later.
2014 I think. Our Granddaughter was 12, we went to Acadia Valley and our son bought a Golden Anniversary 318 Polara 2 dr hdtp. We left at 9:30AM got home at 11:30 PM. She was a complete pleasure to take on the trip never a complaint like some early teenagers or preteens.

That Chrysler dealer was the largest dealer in Alberta in the at one time. Except for Edmonton and Calgary.The family still had the building with volumes of parts going back from the late 70’s to the 30’s. I think they closed the business possibly in the 80’s. The car was purchased new by one of the brothers. So our son is the second owner.

Was your car possibly owned by the fellow that owned Lethbridge Orthotics and Prosthetics. Armond. He got with caught wandering, so his very nice wife got a divorce and all of his cars were auctioned off years ago.
