Hiem joint noise

Has anyone found a way to quiet these things??? I have come to the conclusion they are what is causing a heavy clicking noise around my steering column. I have 2 joints in it.

Possibly look into different brands, some have liners, some are heavier and I'm sure some are just poorly made. I use them at work so I know there's several differences from one to another, check on McMaster Karrs website they have a decent selection. The other option is switching them to bushings if it's in the suspension or an honest tie rod joint if it's in the steering, both would take some significant mods. Those joints are exactly why I won't buy any of those kits, for someone like you or me we drive them way to much to expect good life out of them.... drag cars yes, daily driving absolutely not.
