Hood pin lanyards

My 73 RR is missing the lanyards for the hood pins. I see at least two different lengths available, 18 inch and 23 inch. Which one is correct for my car? I don't see any mention of hood pins in the FSM. Thanks!

23 inch.

You can fit the 18", but there's extra stuffing around to secure the lanyard up behind the headlights.

Actually, now you have the location for securing the lanyard you should get some string and measure it out.

Classic Ind sell 25" lanyards too. Depends on how much loop you like.
