Ayuh, those shots that Reed posted above are from an older 66/67 scoop that I had.
.... and this is Larry's "65", which as you can see is considerably longer at the back, with a more pronounced curve as well.

I also fabricated an air dam on the inside of my scoop to funnel the air into the opening in the hood.
