How do I tell what car my block originally came in?

I picked up a couple 383s yesterday for 100 bucks. One is a 66 so no pad along the oil pan rail , but the other is a 1970 block and the pad number is 1E150379.
Anybody know?
thanks

The 1970 cast block came from a 1971 vehicle built in the Los Angeles assembly plant. Not sure what car line was built there in 1971.

71 Charger or a 71 Satellite/Roadrunner

71 LA built A and B bodies. Since there were no '71 A body 383s, that leaves B bodies meaning a Charger-Coronet-Super Bee-Satellite-RoadRunner.

That 2nd one could almost be for my car if it didn't have the "5", and had a 2nd "9" added to the end. My sequence is 103799 and I don't have my original engine.

So close but yet so far away.
