Sorry...should have been more clear...I am wanting to remove the "entire toggle from the switch" so that I can replace it with a newly chromed toggle.

I just went out to look at one of mine and the pin seems to be a long thin rivet. I would either grind off the rounded part of the head and punch through (very carefully) or if you have drill bits small enough drill out/off the flared over side of the rivet head and then punch through that way. Either way punching it through would be the tricky part as well as replacing the rivet pin later, good luck. KC

Yeah, I considered that...I'ts a 3 speed switch and I am a little nervous. Just curious if someone has already gone down this road once before. Thank you for the suggestion...might be the only way.
