How happy are you?

How happy am I? Not doing well right now. I slipped on the ice last week and cracked or broke a rib. A also have a kidney stone thing going on right now. Same side. Pain in the front, side and back. I have been sleeping (kind of) in the recliner for the last week.

Damn Mike you can’t catch a break, I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you heal up quickly

I don't get real happy or real sad. I remember one of my happiest moments was driving home from a Chemistry 2 final and I knew I had aced it. Those classes were hard. To get my master's I had to keep a 3.5 GPA. Chemistry 1,2,3, Physics 1,2,3. Math up through Calculus 3. Plus all the geology classes. Then the research to complete thesis. My book was published on The Algal Limestone Formations of the Haskell Limestone in Chautauqua County, Kansas.

Another time when I was relaxing in our hot tub after purchasing the '69 Charger.

When my Dad died it didn't hit me until about 6 months later. Our family has been truly blessed or just damn lucky. Mom is still living at 95 1/2.

One thing to tell your kids or grandkids if they're in college. Don't do it all by yourself. Form study groups!
