I know A Bodies would be a better place to ask but, I hate to join just to ask WIIW.

I was out at my shade tree mechanic's place. He has a small salvage yard. I noticed he had a '77 Plymouth Scamp. Not bad shape. Slant six, AC, PS, PB, AT on the column. Some rust behind the rear wheels. Not too bad. Running, but he couldn't get it to go into gear, even with some Trans X added. It's beige with a brown vinyl top that is mostly peeled off. It has the cool rear window, but the uglier front end with the big bumper. Bench seat looked nice but cracked at the seams when I touched it. Hubcaps. Colorado is not bad for rust, but bad for sun damage. The odometer said 86K.

Clean title. $2500. What's your opinion?

1976 was the last year for any A-body including the Scamp.

Valuation can be very subjective. From the description, with a decent body, and if I was looking into something like that, I would consider $1500-$2000, using the transmission, etc. as negotiating leverage.

Slightly less than a 76 Duster.

...and slightly less than a 318 Scamp.
