16 in 69. Didn’t realize what was happening.

I thought that we were 10 years apart. We share a birthday but I thought I rolled in 10 years later.
I turned 60 in November. Numbers at this point are a hard pill to swallow.
Turning 16 meant eligibility for a driver's license, at 18 you're an adult. 21 gets you access to booze, 30 means you're not a kid anymore.
From there, it felt like 40 meant I had to act more responsible, 50 meant I'm now invisible to women under 30. 55 brought on the AARP solicitations. Turning 60 though.....It sure doesn't emanate a sentiment of desirability, virility or a macho theme.
I feel fine. I'm healthy, I have my hair, I'm happily married and financially secure. I need to remember that those things matter more than my age number.

72. Officially old after claiming medicare, social security, and swapping my CDL for a parking placard. The GTX, on the other hand, still runs like the first time I drove it, 55 years ago.

67 and feeling it this AM, Installed a 100,000 BTU furnace in our house yesterday.
Started at 8 done at 4.30 The two wheeler trip down the stairs im feeling today lol, and yes the old one is still in the basement until my son or brother stops by.

67 in March. Looking back at my parents when they were this age, I think I'm in much better shape than they were. I've got a bunch of vacation ideas that I want to do while Submit and I are still healthy.

Two wheeler trip down the stairs? My last trip down a bunch of stairs with a two wheeler was with a Honda trail bike!
