How to Make Your Mopar Gay Starter Kit

I didn’t make it but I’ll leave this right here.

You'll find some that would add 18" and larger wheels to that list along with cowl induction hoods.
I say, if the changes actually provide a benefit, it isn't automatically a bad thing.
Sometimes the correct parts you need are difficult to find. Ford 9 inch? Not a bad unit and the parts availability is huge.
If nobody near you can get parts for your 8 3/4" axle, using a Ford axle makes you gay?
Gay is a funny term but not appropriate for discussing changes that are not effeminate.

Pastel colors, fake eyelashes or leopard print upholstery on a Mopar look GAY. A rear axle, spoiler or front suspension have no sexual connotation at all.
This meme is a ....

What is worse is a car that is bought and shown by a guy with clean, soft hands that didn't turn a single wrench to build it.
If you're too old to build the car or disabled, that is understandable but able bodied guys that pay others to do all the work?

Even if I had millions to blow I’d still build my own car. I just love to wrench on them when I have the time. I’d knew this meme would trigger a few. I just thought it was funny because I knew it was going to piss off a few people not that I actually believe it, I’d be a hypocrite if so, considering how much aftermarket crap I’ve put on my car. B Body Mopar just deleted and blocked me from their FB site so it must have pissed someone off there also lol. My brother just built a 8.8 and put it in his 55 210. He said you can’t even find a used Ford 9” anymore so thats what he went with.

I believe you can build an entirely aftermarket 9" axle. Not sure if there's aftermarket 8 3/4" housings. Original examples of both will only get harder to find.

Moser makes a fabricated 8 3/4 housing, but it looks NOTHING like a stocker, and by the time you are finished putting one together..... a dana is stronger and cheaper (and so is a nine, probably).
When I need a rear for one of my 55s or 57s, an 8.8 will be the #1 option. Either a mustang, or a narrowed explorer. Same basic strength as a 12 bolt chevy, wide parts upgrades available courtesy of fox mustang racers, can be found with good gear ratios, disc's, and lsd's. What's not to like. LOTS cheaper to buy/build than anything of comparable strength, and much more available.

Just worked on a 70 cadillac. This thing makes a 9" look like a good design!!

Yeah they’re explorers everywhere and my brother tries to budget so a 8.8 works perfectly.
