I just invested lots of money on a new dash pad and recovering my seats. Now when I take a lady out occasionally I like to shine it up with some Armor all and make look all shiney. It seems that EVERY forum I read claims that Armor All damages your vynil and plastic. Is this true? It is one of the oldest interior cleaners/protectents on the market..so how could it suck so bad? And if it is so dangerous, why? No one says why it dries out your dash. This is fusterating, as I want to use a product I can trust to prolong the life of my interior. Is it silicone base? I read that it was water base now. Why does that matter?
