I've had a '66 Belvedere II sitting in my garage in a million pieces for more years than I care to admit. I stumbled onto this site looking for info on drum to disk conversion. To say I need inspiration (and a kick in the a.......) is an understatement.

"So it goes."

Welcome aboard and thanks for joining!
I purchased the MasterPower brake kit for my 70 "Bee"
Easy, it afforded me the oppurtunity to powdercoat everything while I installed the kit.
IF I were to do it over I might not go w/ Master Powers kit.
Also, the MP kit includes a "Chevy" style booster, now you can get an authentic looking one from some other distributor, also the RAM MAN, but he is pricey and of course GREAT QUALITY.

Okay, keep us posted!

Dont send our people over there. WTH did he do to you? lol

Pictures will be forth coming. The irony of my car is that I bought a house with a three car garage to have space to work on the car, which I haven't done. I used to have a '65 Vailant Signet and the Belvedere. I sold the Vailant to make time for the Belevdere.

As for brake conversions, my car is manual drums. I've read a few threads and it seems every option (manufacture-wise) sucks for one reason or another. Has anyone out there converted a manual drum car to power assist with disks in the front and drums in the rear and what kit did you use and what additionl parts did you have to buy to make it work?
