Converting my 65Satellite from auto cable on floor to Standard 4 gear on floor, want to use 833 behind 440, Would anyone have pics with reference measurements for the 4speed hump. Thanks in advance
Which 4 speed hump do you intend on getting? If you're going to get one of the GOOD repops, you can literally throw it in the florboard and it will almost fall into place where it belongs. I was lucky when looking for one for my 63 Dart. I was skiddish, because I found a used one on Ebay. But the guy really knew what the hell he was doing. I am not jokin......I pitched it in the car just so it would be in there. It fell into place right where it needed to be welded in. I almost fell out. Because of the orientation of all of the ribs in the floor, it is literally self explanatory where it goes when you get one. I still plan on having the transmission and shifter mounted in the car so I can really zero in on it though. I promise it ain't as daunting as you think. ....and if I say that, you can bank on it, cause I hate cuttin and weldin. lol
Thanks Rusty, ya I did that with my Cuda and it lined up good, still had a few pics from a member on E body with measurements so that helped, As far as which one, one listed for that year in AMD for 833
2X on what R3 said. You can also check in with Jamie at Passon performance. Also if you confirm the '65 is the same as a '64, I have a new '64 hump for sale. Some how ended up with two during my resto process..
