Hydraulic Press

I feel lucky, my dad built ours. Uses a log splitter setup (electric) and has a 24" stroke "no need to move the table". It's an animal but I really don't know if I like a powered press, you can't FEAL the pressure being applied until you've made a mess of things.:eek:ops:
I bought the HF 12 Ton on sale + 20% off coupon-will see how it works out.:toothy5:
I pulled the trigger on the Torin 12 ton press from Northern tool because I had store credit and a $20.00 off $100 coupon. Put it together.... I thought it would be taller. I was however able to press out my UCA bushings, my LCA pivot shafts, and press back in the UCA bushings. Not a bad little press. Of course the 20 ton looked much nicer, sturdier, taller but was also twice the price.
