the bumperettes are awesome
Thanks a bunch! I know it was quick once I found the car, but I think it had to be or it would be in someone else's garage! I think it's gonna be a LOT of fun!!!I didn't think that was gonna go well.... running on 5 cylinders, LOL. Bumperettes... well. lol Have fun with it Bart, looks like you did well on the purchase !
I know you said you gave up on your search, but never say never! I am taking the Bee over to Mr. Automotive's Classic Car Garage tomorrow morning for fluid changes and a safety inspection. I will be talking to him about you then. Did you get a chance to speak with Carl? I hope so, he is a good guy with lots of Mopar experience. He has a 1969 Charger and a 69 Roadrunner. He has some other cars too and has helped me with mine on several occasions. Due to an accident, he is not able to do as much as he used to, but he is a very talented guy.Congratulations. Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for in a 1969. I love triple pickle and bonus points for no vinyl top. Please keep us updated and I look forward to seeing more videos.
I'm going to try to get Mr Automotive to do some work on my Road Runner.

Just looked at the 69 Bee. Whats up with the lower radiator hose connection and it appears to be a lot of rust underneath door rockers at pinched factory seams. Looks unfinished without the white stripe. The radiator shroud needs repair. Can't believe Gateway posted photos with the shroud. What other gremlins are lurking. Finally not correct road wheels. Bart has the better car by far and for less money.
