It gives hood clearance. I put a set of those chrome tri spoke air cleaner wing nuts on my Six Pack and they hit the underside of the hood.

I feel poor and miserable just reading the description but... Not my cup of tea, i can think of better cars for that money, a 68 charger hemi four speed triple black non matching number come to my mind for far less and more enjoyable just saying.

I seen this car before on flea bay, and wondered why ? Because we can , I guess now look at what you did can’t get a bid on it. Poor car boat engine .. Chevy hood, ford grille, challenger tail lamp , on one of the most flawless designed cars in history.. And it won’t sell. IMO
