I "Discover" the Wilhelm Scream

Watching a 1951 Gary Cooper Film today with Mari Aldon "Distant Drums" there was a swamp scene where a soldier screams briefly when attacked by a crocodile. Come to find out, the same scream began to be used in over a hundred films since and even has a name, the "Wilhelm".

and we wonder why we have lost our manufacturing here in the USA...... Like these studios needed to save the money on this to improve ROI. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhuuuuhhhhhh------------------

I have heard the Star Trek "Woooooosh" door sound in many other movies and shows.
