I gotta be kidding….right ?

They did have the "Howler" concept, which was just that.

Should theoretically be super easy to do.

...and all sorts of room for a twin turbo setup and plumbing.

That would be 4 times worse than the 6 it came with!!

Twin turbo 5.9?

Worse?

Really?

Sorry meant to quote the post above you . A big heavy 230hp hunk of **** sticking out of a prowler would not be inspiring.

I have seen a couple of them that people have put LS engines in, which makes me feel ill.

It would have sounded like it should, and have good torque. I bet it wouldve been pretty decent for its time. It wasn’t meant to be a race car, it’s a lifestyle car.
Travis..

The Plymouth Prowler Was Way More Advanced Than You'd Guess - The Autopian The Plymouth Prowler Was Way More Advanced Than You'd Guess - The Autopian
The author admits in the beginning that it had the wrong engine and transmission.
I don't care how "advanced" it was, wrong engine/transmission in a "streetrod" wannabe..... zero interest! (The HIDEOUS front bumpers only made it worse!)
At least that retro retractable chevy pickup came with an LS, eventually even a decent one. It was still a failure.

Well, I guess I'm an edge lord hack...... but not as much of a hack as the guy who put a v6 in a streetrod wanna be, and then put the ugliest bumpers on the planet on it!

I got my minivan primarily for enclosed transport of 4x8 sheets of whatever.

Its main purpose though is as the CTS (Canine Transportation System). They love it and ride sitting up in the second row seating, like kids on a school bus.

Besides those 2 things it is an absolute joy to drive, especially on long trips.
I believe a 66-7 Charger might also do it>

I've been shopping for some sort of CTS lately, myself. We currently can move two canines at a time, not quite three.
