Problem 1968 dodge charger: replacing Both lower rear quarter panels, trunk floor(all) both trunk drops, rear valance and both corners. Tail light panel is still intact, all rusted parts have been removed. what is the best order to weld in all new panels? It is a two piece trunk floor, I had to put a lower path on the right inner wheel well. Open to all suggestions.
Thank you!!
Let me know if there is more information needed.

I'm doing the same (68) but the tail light panel goes too. Just starting. I only need to patch bottom 10 inches of the driver's quarter. I'll be watching this thread. I'm most concerned about the measurements and unforseen Oh crap why didn't I think of that moments.

You should not be open to all suggestions. Leave the Trunk Deck Lid ON! The car is built around the squareness of that Deck Lid. Did you change the outer wheelhouses? Those qtrs are too big for one person to heft and align. Get a LOT of self-tapping sheetmetal screws and screw it all together first, tweak, align, re-screw, when it's good to go, tack weld all the corners in and leave the screws in then take a few out, weld, and on and on and on. It's not hard, but it's tricky. You should have a chassis table to mount the car on for this. Panels won't fit perfectly, and you'll likely have to modify sections. Post pics.

Just like Cincyboy, only the lower 10 inches on both rear quarters are being replaced. However the drivers side needs to have some holes repaired around the outer wheel well. What I have decided to do is clamp everything in place and weld the bottom of the floor to the frame first, then the rear valance to the floor lining it up to the tail light panel, then clamping the trunk drops in place with the corners and lower rear quarters. Am I missing anything?
