i am looking into aquiring a 1972 Dodge. It's being represented as a Monaco, and a former NY State police car. Now, i know full well already it's NOT a police model. 360-2v, 4-leaf which leads me to suspect 10-in not 11-in rear drums, etc. etc. i will get the V.I.N. in the next few days... my questions are these: What clues can i look for to determine Polara vs. Monaco, is there a site i can access to identify correct original equipment by V.I.N., and is there a parts source where i can find things like K-frame bushings, trim pieces and ignition/trunk cylinders and keys?
