I also believe that the big dirty dogs I live with keep my immune system up to date.

That has been part of my immunity regimen for decades.
I've had Lab or Lab mixes, friendly loving dogs that are retrieval-driven, AND like to lick, "kiss", and grab all KINDS of stuff in their mouths, PLUS the personal body parts of their own and each other that they lick....
Yeah, I know some of you may grimace or think "YUK" but to me it's PACK BONDING and I am certain that it's boosted the range of critters that my body is already tuned in and ready to do battle with.
