Not as bad as it sounds. There was an exotic pet shop in a little community outside Wichita, Kansas. I guess it was legal in that little suburb. I used to go there during lunch to look at the giant snakes and lizards. The way the store was set up, you walked in the front door an there were two aisles, one left, one right, leading to the cashier in the back. So I was right there in the front of the store and a Bengal Tiger ran up to me. It wasn't full grown, kinda like a teenager. I froze and the tiger started biting my leg. It was mostly just getting my jean pant legs. I finally called out. Some young men came running from the back, apologizing like crazy. I wasn't really hurt so I followed them back to watch them and the tiger. The big cat kept jumping up with paws on their shoulders, I suppose going for their necks. They were laughing and kept pushing it back.

I didn't get mad, even then I knew it would make a cool story.

It was about the size of this one. Maybe little bit smaller but not much.

That's big enough..

I got licked by a cheetah in grade school once. Rough tongue.

I got zapped by a scorpion last year in Mexico. Not a big deal for 99 percent of the world but when you live in the arctic it is pretty cool..
So I’m telling my tale of woe to our good friend up here that is a Jamaican immigrant. He laughs at me like I’m a pussy and tells me that back in Jamaica they drop scorpions down the back of peoples shirts for a prank like it’s no big deal. Ah well…

The old dropping a scorpion down the shirt trick,it's funny until Anna shows up and everyone is surprised! Then they get Anna Phillactic shock!

I think I might want the tiger over the Cottonmouth/Water Mocassin. My parents bought a ranch down in Indian country NE Oklama. They had some workers cutting roads in and a worker got bit. He almost died.

Meh, that's nothing. Just head north in summer to Northwest Territories or something without a full mosquito net or bug spray and endure that for a few hours. The skeeters and horseflies will humble you.

I got bit by the Car Bug at a very young age and it has caused a lifetime of suffering and economic hardship. I've been told that though I may not die of it ,I will definitely die with it.
