I went back in time today

Sorry to hear about your aunts hip.
She sounds like a great gal you have been lucky to have.
The work you do will for sure help her stay in her home.
Yep I am digging that green also.

If you decide to replace the toilet get a ADA compliant toilet they have a raised toilet seat. The seat height makes it easier for seniors to sit down and stand up.

You can't tell them from a non- ADA unit.

Sorry to hear, prayers sent! ..................... I didn't know you liked green......................... :poke:

My wife and I had ADA toilets installed 20 years ago when we were still spry. Nowadays, I feel like I'm coming up from a heavy squat from my power lifting days when I have to use a standard unit in a hotel. With either a seated or standing transfer from a wheelchair, the extra height makes the process a whole lot easier.

If your aunt is using a standard wheelchair prescribed by a medical professional, it will likely be four inches wider than ideal. They factor in items like winter coats and weight gain, that often don't apply. I have 39 inch hips, and I use a chair with a 15 inch seat, which will easily clear a 25 inch bathroom door. An 18 inch wide seat, "standard" wheelchair won't make it.

Sorry for the news about your Aunt's hip, my hopes for her recovery and comfort through her days ahead. Now... about the green... no wonder it's not on my palette.

I received a call the other day telling me that she fell and broke her hip.

It's likely the other way around if she is suffering from osteoporosis. The bones are weakened and break...causing the person to fall.

Praying for her recovery.
:praying:
