If you were 20-25 years old what car would you buy right now?

Let's assume you have your first real job in your chosen field. No wife no kids, you have some free time and some free money. Would you buy a project knowing it would continue to cost you more as you went along? Something new or nearly new you lusted for? Some finished car you always wanted.

No arm chair quarterbacking saying if it was 1969 I would do this. It has to be now. I really don't know what I'd do. My son says he thinks a 392 Scat Pack Challenger would be about right.

Better be paying down student debit and move out of the parents house. A new car would be far from any consideration. Then at that age there is the nasty thing called ridicules insurance rates.
But what a pipe dream you had there.

a new "jeep" that's about all you can by over here . every thing else is ford or Holden ( chev) or 300 c which does nothing for me

Well, when I started as a Biomedical Technician "intern" at GE in 2012 I was only making $16/hr with zero overtime and zero benefits, so that would have been the limiting factor. I guess it would have been a Dodge Caravan like I use for work now, but I would have had to use my 1 vehicle for everything, and wouldn't have been able to afford anything else.
OTOH if I could buy what I wanted within reason, and still got some utility out of it, it would be one of these:
Dodge SRT Durango

I'd buy a new Ram 1500 Rebel. I could work out of it and still lay rubber if I wanted to.

That age AND unlimited funds?
Tough decision. Toss up between the new Hellcat Redeye (wish the Charger was available with a stick!) and the
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk (Hellcat).

I would still go project just as I did build it as I want it ! Not someone else mess or vison !
72-73 charger still for me still think there the sexiest chargers !
Possibley a 66 charger I've always wanted one!
