Gotta replace ignition switch. Ordered US50 switch,never replaced one but it came with no key cylinder. Do I just unscrew old cylinder and screw in the new one? Thanks never replaced one before :VB toast:
 
Yes, the old cylinder should go into the new switch for the old key to work.
 
The lock cylinder doesn't unscrew. You'll need the key to turn it either on or start (don't remember which) and on the side of the switch there is a small slot you'll need to insert a flat blade screwdriver into to depress the locking pin and release the cylinder.
 
So when you install cylinder just reverse process? Ok will try both ways to get cylinder out, I just f'ing hate electrical issues,I suck at it:VB toast:
