I'm just goofy for big burnouts.

I don't care are about 1/4 mile speed, cornering, good traction. I just love doing burnouts. I just realize it as I have to buy new tires for the 1997 Camaro SS. Not too expensive even for good ones, around $100/ea. Of course the good ones are sticky! I might have to find the cheapest crap tires.

It's the same deal for our '71 E Body. The '69 Charger SE won't do a burnout to save it's soul. 383 Highway gears. Maybe it's not running right but remember my 7500' altitude.

I think everybody loves a good burnout.

Thanks for the Mopar video, but shouldn't this be on a Cheby or Craparo forum?

My 69 Charger has no trouble doing burnouts in circles forever:lol:. Don't know what's wrong with yours?:poke:

Yeah that 69 should burnout just fine. I had a 78 Doba with a 400 and 2:45 highway gears and it would burn the tires all day long. The only upgrade on it was a lean burn delete to Pertronix 3.

Me too, especially with an audience! What ticket?

put on a line lock

The '69 loves to cruise at 80. It must have the gears from a 318, 2.? somethings. It's just gutless off the line. On the other hand the E Body has 3.91 gears, Fun everywhere but the highway. I guess I should shop for tires for the E Body too. When I finally get the '71 Charger done I will need tires for its 14" Magnum wheels.
