How would you remove clear silicone?

I've always used pliobond for glueing the watershields.

I like pliobond or urethane adhesive. Silicone is actually a poor adhesive and even worse it contaminates surfaces. I am only somewhat kidding when I say that you should have to have a license to buy it. I've seen countless things horribly screwed up by well meaning but incompetent people.
