Hey all, brand new member here with alot (a LOT) of questions and in desperate need of guidance. Just bought a low mileage survivor-esque 1973 Coronet Custom and it's great save for a few issues I'm ironing out. I'll cruise the threads for answers but I may have to start a few as well (within reason)

I also happen to work for a well known mail order high performance parts company with a penchant for the color yellow, if anyone needs helphelp with something pertaining there or just want to hear hilarious stories of what brand-x guys call and ask about then feel free to ask!

Thanks in advance!

I've already removed the 500mph bumpers and have a set of 15x8 police steelies ordered, still deciding on tires, and I've put 150 miles on it already, steering column issues plaguing me now

Hey I'm still waiting on my spinner hubcaps that I ordered from your company! Just kidding.

Welcome Bigs! Feel free to post away! There's some good peeps on here! Nice ride!

Spinner hubcaps would be the least of my worries there, crudrolet stuff is vast and plentiful, those guys get alot of choices in blowupables and explodulation equipment

Anyone know how to rebuild the steering column in this beast? Or steer me towards someone who can? I've looked at the flaming river stuff and even at my price is too rich for me

Welcome BYS! One of the first things you'll want to do is acquire a copy of the FSM and Parts book for your car. You can download a free copy here.

Once you have the factory service manual, you may find that you can solve your steering column problem yourself. Good luck!

Great looking car.
I spent 12 years a little South West of you in Dayton.
Love the Ohio people!
Great state!

Welcome from Maine! Don't hesitate to ask away. As stated, lots of good people here to help!

I received those very items with the car actually and have been digging through it furiously. I think I can get it done but time is short and valuable. I may still try to tackle it, it's keeping the car from running, NSS isn't getting engaged properly and theres a spot where itit stops mid turn, have to figure it out asap

Pro Stock went through a lot of changes this year, and it would seem money is tight for no dedicated team being fielded, apparently more cost effective to piggyback on another team. Has been a rough year tho for sure.

Ohio is awesome, home to alot of great people, places, and things. Mopar Nationals are 20 mins from the house! Brice road went to hell in a hand basket though

Welcome to the site, my first car was a 4 door Coronet too, only a few years older, a 66. I learned a lot from it. Nice guys here willing to help however they can.

Looks like a garaged car. By 73 they were pretty "modern" as you know.
It will serve you well. Take car of it.

Welcome to FBBO from Vermont! I would look for a replacement column at a salvage yard.
