What if you are a new person and don’t happen to have knowledge from long time members? I knew how to drive a farm truck at 12 years old. Town people Learned to drive at 16. I had more knowledge.
Point is, when I reply to a message I don’t know what information the person asking knows about the problem.
If I ask a question about something, I don’t mind someone thinking I know very little and am a dunnderhead.

Who ever gave you the red x certainly hasnt got a clue on how to work on these cars
yeah! I'm calling him out LOL
I want to know why the disagreement! I thought it was the best question!!!
that had to be a FAT FINGER FOUL

Don’t let anyone make you feel inadequate if you don’t know things.

Im really thankful there is the internet giving me access to this and other websites in the united states.
Because this is what usually happens if you ask a question on german websites or simply people at all.
They usually dont answer your questions and try to make you feel like an idiot.

I would be out of my mind if that happened to me. Last year, had to have my transmission rebuilt. The shop that was suggested by a trusted friend was owned by a fellow classic car collector. He assured me in no uncertain terms that my car would be kept inside and on the lift until work was completed. It was close by, so I checked every day for over a week to be sure it was. He was true to his word. Drove me crazy that the car was out of my control for that period of time.

Obviously for a good reason.

That's nothing i took my car in for a dyno tune one day too come back and the guy smiling and saying the issue is sorted to why the car wasn't running so good & that it was an air flow issue. This dumb *** has gone ahead and drilled 7 one inch holes on the underside of my factory air cleaner housing without asking.

Today i was able to get the car out of monkey garage.
Here are some pictures: https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showcase/a-1969-dodge-charger-rt-in-germany.5431/

As turned out they screwed up even more.
They took out the heater control valve and obviously bypassed the heater hoses. (see pictures)

Those idiots placed those hoses DIRECTLY ON THE HEADERS.
So it burned through, i lost coolant and the car ran hot.

Those guys really are the best mechanics i've ever seen. not.

Cool thing was when it ran hot there was road work going on on that section of the road.
So i was not able to pull over for about 5 minutes or something with the temperatur gauge all the way to HOT.

Luckily nothing broke, at least i hope as the engine runs fine and does not make any noise.
Runs good also.

But the transmission shifts a little rough, made a "bang" once at shift and in reverse some "horrible" noises.
I guess those idiots did not checked the fluid level. I will do that shortly.
Hopefully just low on fluid. Most of the time shifted normally.

Im so lucky to have the car out of these idiots reach now and they will see me and this car never again.
