Impossible to find part?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this but here goes.

I'm installing a Six Pack on my 69 GTX automatic. I need the rod of the 3 piece kick down linkage that goes down in front of the firewall. I know I can buy the complete linkage for $350 but that's pricey when all I need is this one piece. Anyone know where I could buy that one rod? :smilie_help:
