Mine seems to be one to one and works great. The cable stop on the end of each cable allows you to make very fine adjustments without changing the one to one, just a very small change directly affects the transmission shift points and partial kick down.

I started out with setting up the cable and testing it, then just a very small adjustment at the cable stop and it’s been working perfectly since. Around 4,000 miles this summer and lots of heavy stop and go commuting back and forth to work.

Underneath at the trans lever there is a small spring to bring the lever back to the forward position as the throttle comes back to idle. I think you’ll see it in the pictures. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks those are great pictures for me in case I decide to go that route. I do see the spring. It looks like you added it. I believe the stock set up does not use a return spring at the transmission correct?
