We don't have an In-N-Out Burgers for 100+ miles from here
I do like them when I'm out & about,
a real hamburger (smallish) or Cheese double double (not some huge deal) real bun
real hand sliced onions tomatoes pickles, mustard & Catsup, thick cheddar cheese
their shakes used to be great, so did the fries, everything is fresh sliced
none of that frozen crap on anything (or was)
except shakes

I heard ravings about 'Newcastle Hamburgers', when back east,
I was not impressed at all
but I still got like 20 sliders for my race crew

Is In-N-Out the very best hamburger/fries/shake in the world?
No. Im sure there are Mom & Pop joints all over the country that have better. [and of course 'better' is subjective] BUT...is In - N - Out the best fast food CHAIN burger in the country? Without a doubt. Good quality, CONSISTENT quality, clean premises, good staff and they will make about any combo you want. [Neapolitan shake for me please with a Double, sauce only and fries LIGHT...thank you] Plus, I freely admit I just flat love the company.
It is my admittedly uninformed opinion tho that they are making some mistakes here lately...I "get" leaving California for Corporate, but I think Tennessee is a mistake for their business. But what do I know?
Sure wish there was a location closer to me right now than 4 hours away...

That sounds like a veteran customer order. (Light fries are important at my local in-n-out, otherwise virtually burnt) I get a dd, slo, light fries, and a chocolate strawberry shake.
Haven't missed a stop at the Victorville store on my trip from AZ to CA in years.
