Just got to wondering why guys like to play the field so often? We are mammals, that's why.

It might be a treasured value in many human cultures, but monogamy is rare in the animal kingdom at large. Of the roughly 5,000 species of mammals, only 3 to 5 percent are known to form lifelong pair bonds. This select group includes beavers, otters, wolves, some bats and foxes and a few hoofed animals.

And even the creatures that do pair and mate for life occasionally have flings on the side and some, like the wolf, waste little time finding a new mate if their old one dies or can no longer sexually perform.

Staying faithful can be a struggle for most animals. For one, males are hardwired to spread their genes and females try to seek the best dad for their young. Also, monogamy is costly because it requires an individual to place their entire reproductive investment on the fitness of their mate. Putting all their eggs in one basket means there’s a lot of pressure on each animal to pick the perfect mate, which, as humans knows, can be tricky.

You must not be married and concerned your wife may find this forum/thread.... Sure its "all just science".... uh huh... don't know many females that would see it this way and any guy dumb enough to come on here (or anywhere) and discuss how he supports infidelity deserves what he is undoubtedly going to get.

By hey, thats just my opinion and I encourage any married guy to jump right on here and talk about how he supports infidelity (the smart ones will openly state their opposition to it).

Guys like to say this until the female half says "ok, let's have an open relationship" then the guy realizes he can't actually get laid as often as she can. He may be lucky to pull one or two strange a week. She can get a different guy Every night if she wants. Then the guy screams she's a hoe. Only narcissistic men think it's ok.

When I give someone my word, it's a done deal.
When I make a promise before God and the result is legally binding, it's double down time.
That simple.

This thread started with one BIG misconception: that man is a mammal. Nope man is man. We are not animals, and thus are not supposed to act like animals. We are the only beings that the Almighty "breathed his spirit into". And Ed is right, my "I do" was not only to my wife, but to God ABOUT my wife.

In case you had not notices, this thread is in the joke section and was meant to inform you about the sexual preferences of animals who belong in the animal kingdom known as mammals.

The intention of posting was NOT to moralize infidelity in our human world. Relax and don't be so serious guys!

Aaaahh....those good old days when I was single...and had money!....different girl every weekend. Been married for 14 years now (made it to 40 as a single man...so had more "fun" than some I guess!!!).....been a good boy since that day!!

I was raised to not be a hoe but my first 2 wifes liked d__k to much for that, i tried and tried with my second wife for 16 years but she drank to much and d__ks just seemed to take up residence in her various orifices. My wife of 15 years now is the best thing that's happened to me working as a team to further ourselves with no outside interference within our bedroom or anywhere, and with a great amount of respect for one another. a mutual feeling of trust is worth more than anything. once you step across that line it can never be the same, I know.

You are a plant, animal or insect.
When my wife axed if I wanted an open relationship that flew the red flag.
