Most of the pumps I have seen are for vertical mounting - not a 45-degree fitment.

I run a Holley vertical in-tank - but they stick up about 2-inches above the surface.

2 Holley 750’s on a blown Hemi
When I had no traction and couldn’t give it over 1/4 throttle it was fine but I put on 295 65 drag radials and it runs out of fuel

It does sound like something is wrong. I had a blown 475 cu in Chevy in a pitchfork tunnel jet boat, 871 driven at 21% overdrive. Two 1050 dominators, fed by two blue Holley pumps, one 10 gal tank per pump and carb. 6500 rpm pulls , I ran the hell out of it and never ran out of gas. Check your fuel flow.

Aeromotive makes a nice setup. Has option of three pumps. You don’t say what year , but I have one in my 70.

Yeah, 350 lph is nowhere near enough for that combo. Largest I've seen Holley offer for in tank is 500 lph. Best way to do in tank is using the multiple pump in the tank set up.
