Indy tunnel ram pics? And Indy Valve cover question+

I'm getting ready to start the build of my 511 for my 65 Coronet.

Was hoping you guys that are running B/RB engine with indy tunnel ram could post some pics of your engine compartments.

The Indy valve covers I have. Do not have holes or knockouts for breather or pcv.
What is the best way to drill out a hole. They are the thick cast alum cover.

You could drill them with a step drill and weld an aluminum bung on that way you can use screw in breather , an fittings ..., gives you a few options good luck

This is the low deck version, CFE burst plates, QF 1050-AN 4150's, and Enderle linkage.

I have the Indy valve covers and when I bought them (from Indy) I had them do the knock-out and install the breathers.
They have a "plate" that screws to the back of the valve cover and forms the "neck" to stuff in a breather with a rubber neck. Call Indy and buy the breather kits.
Also (in my opinion) you must use a "screw in stud (just like the one in the picture the guy posted with the welded bung) and then the nuts with the serrated bottom, You can buy those studs from INdy. You can't get them long enuf at a specialty hardware store...trust me,,, i tried. Good Luck

Fastenal carries the studs in whatever length you need and the stainless serrated nuts as well.

It is not just a stud that you need...it is a stud with an "allen wrench head" to screw them into the heads. I still think you have to get them from INDY. Just a thought.

I would consider a 505" inch which is what my engine builder suggested I do.....Bore it only .030 over (505"), not .060 over (511") and make your cylinder walls just that much thicker by only giving up 6-8 Horsepower by 6 cubic inches less.
