Yep that's important. It's called "Cherished Salvage" coverage.I'm with Hagerty, 4 cars. No matter who you go with, make sure you get the car if it is totaled.
You can then remove any non damage Parts and re-sell or re-use them.

I have Hagerty through the back door, after State Farm cut a deal for them to underwrite their classic car coverage. I don't even get the magazine. However, I think $250 per year for $70K value on the GTX is a pretty good deal. I have lower rates because of multiple line coverage, and long term claims history.I have Hagerty with three cars on the policy. My only complaint is I send them a check twice a year, and all they do is is send me a magazine once a month. But that's better than most of the other insurance companies I send checks to.
I have Grundy now at a decent rate. However i asked to increase the agreed value it went up quite a bit.Grundy had the lowest rates when I was looking a few years ago.
Yep.. I wish I had an easy change up here with Hagerty nothing but the old Silver Wheels program underwritten by AVIVA. My lawyer buddy is still on them for the Bird mess... but at this point nobody has raised a flag or premium stating I had a claim. The family can go out in all six cars anytime we want with coverage, as only the Wife and I live at this address! LOL IF there are any future claims... it'll be a FULL loss!I had Hagerty for years, then the family sold to a major company... And soon after I heard of a few claims getting handled poorly... One through an online forum, and one through a high end body shop that I've known the owner of personally for twenty plus years.. Then I got my renewal & it was 30% higher than it had been...
I started shopping & at the same. time talked to my buddy with the body shop.. His comment was the only two collectors insurance companies he works with are Haggerty which he was keeping an eye on whether that would continue and Grundy...
I wound up with Grundy... Two cars one valued at $95K & one valued at 75K.... I pay $697 per year...
It sounds like you already have an insurance picked out from other posts you made, but we got Grundy for our copper 69 Charger with no complaints. We got it insured for $90,000, but would have to see what is paid to insure it.Am looking to get quotes, and wondered if “ya’ll” had good experiences and fair pricing regarding insurance?
Thanks
I canceled Grundy. Went with NCM/American Modern. It sounds like you already have an insurance picked out from other posts you made, but we got Grundy for our copper 69 Charger with no complaints. We got it insured for $90,000, but would have to see what is paid to insure it.
