What sealant do you use on mopar intake bolts (1970 LA 318). RTV?

RTV will work but use it sparingly.....Permatex #2 will work well too. It doesn't need much so use it sparingly too.

Thanks. Do I apply it at the end of the bolt or more towards the head?

I've had good luck with high temp RTV, put it on the threads themselves at the end of the studs. Use studs, if using bolts you'll have to drain your antifreeze every time you mess with the exhaust. It may not be an issue with a small block but on BB's you need to cut the studs back for easy header removal.

RTV doesn't last. You'll have oil puddling in the intake. Teflon, one coat around the lower .250" of the threads and your done.
My 360 has been together for 14 years.
