assuming a low block (383) manifold will bolt to a 440 (RB) with spacer -has anyone done it and does anyone know the thickness of the spacer plates?
It has been done many times, and mine are right at 7/8 inch thick. These came with a set of Stage VI heads, and are made to be used on a low deck b motor with a low deck intake if using spacers. Although without the spacers, you can use a hi deck intake with these heads. Pretty sure that's how it works. Anyone out there, please let me know if I'm not looking at this correctly.assuming a low block (383) manifold will bolt to a 440 (RB) with spacer -has anyone done it and does anyone know the thickness of the spacer plates?

thats kind of like the Mastodon Hemi heads on my fuel dragster- instead of using a spacer with the 354 heads o n the 392, they just cast the heads with that difference built in, bless their hearts.Pretty sure the newer Stage VI heads have the spacers cast into them already. So you have to use a low deck intake on a low deck motor, and HI deck on a HI deck. That's the hi and low of it. LOL
thank you for measuring if you will.I have a set of spacer plates at home I can measure, if you still need that. I'm thinking a half inch to 3/4
HEY thank you !!!! they had 2 pair left- I got one and the problem is solved, thank you much!!I don't know but here they are
