Interior Body Factory Paint '68 Coronet

How was the interior body painted from the factory? As I pull my interior out it appears the rear seat area is a grey primer with flakes in it but as you move to the front seat pan it appears it got the body color paint. Is this factory? Also notice all the flakes of paint under the rear seat, It think there was a low dollar restoration done pre '84 but I can't explain these huge rolled up paint flakes.

I believe they were dipped from the factory. Roughly 1/3 to 1/4 of the way up the inside of the quarter window area you can usually see the line in the primer from the dipping process.
