I was watching GYC, and Worman had the head of the Mopar Division, Pietro Gorlier, on. This guy looks like he's going to become the next CEO of Fiat/Chrysler and I was wondering if it would be the smart move to just kill off Dodge and create an overall Mopar brand. That would mean the end of the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger and create a Mopar Charger and Mopar Challenger, but could also open the door for the Mopar Roadrunner, GTX, and 'Cuda without it being weird.
Fiat/Chrysler can still have Chrysler for it's traditional car lines, but I think it's getting more and more obvious that Dodge's future lies in performance, but their lines are getting old and dated and in need of broadening, and changing the brand to Mopar, which they are already known as, would be a great way forward to expanding their market share.
