is this worth 5k CDN?

You could do a full frame pro touring type build with it. Or any type of race car tribute, being you have the option of front end.

Lol I'm not a pro so I can't really know how much it'll cost to restore maybe 30k?

Double that cost, and then add another 35%. By self admission, you're not a pro & no way in hell should you tackle that if you don't know what you are doing. By the time you get done with that heap, the 85 thousand dollar charger will seem cheap.

Scrape up some more cash and find a better example which is complete. You'll thank yourself in years to come.

it wouldnt be my first restore. im working on one right now (my first of course, so i've learned quite a bit). working on a 71 charger but ive always wanted second gen as well.

i know what i spent on my 71 thus far roughly so im kinda going on those numbers. i think i've spent around 30-45k thus far. but it came complete.

but seeing the 69 is missing all the interior and a bunch of other stuff, yea i think i'll add another 20k for the other missing items.

ya come to think of it ill keep looking for something more complete. im guessing thats why its not sold yet.

but ill ask for the VIN # just in case it has anything special.

if it was just bolt on stuff, that's one thing. but with the front frames gone...that has to be done right.

front structure missing wouldn't bother me near as much as finding and piecing all the little **** together...... realistically, you would need a donor car

Lol yea that is true gonna look for something better thx

if it was close
call me crazy i would go look at it.
it has potential
i have a front clip stashed away
i know of a good running 5.7 drive train 1500
throw 5k of AMD at it and not give a **** if its original buying cheap used modern seats, seat belts, steer wheel ect
use the extra crap i have around front and rear suspension and rear end
ok the grille would hurt ya some
I could make something out of it and not get killed in the end
the thing it has going for it is its a 69 Charger, that leaves a little more meat on the bone
if it was most anything else i would run away unless it was special.
it isn't a car for anyone but it could work for the right person
that is why i say it will be sold eventually
I've witnessed idiots paying A LOT for a shiny 69 charger originality doesn't matter to them
and not every car needs a 85k resto thrown at it.

The second generation Charger market is really hot right now. Looks like a good start for a resto mod, if you don't mind doing the work. Any second generation Charger under 10 grand is going to need a full restoration, and any under 5 grand will require extensive metal work. Fortunately AMD has made the restoration of almost any second generation Charger possible.

and after spending 6 years in primer...you don't need a shiny car to have fun with it. jusy go into something like this fully informed...the nicer you want it..the more $$$$
