It looks like Chris Birdsong has been bitten by the third generation Charger bug!

I don't follow Birdsong but this third Gen stuff interested me. He's in the YouTube business so I wonder if he's getting more clicks with third Gens?

I talked to my son about it and he mentioned third Gens are more likely to be driven than second because seconds are too valuable.

I watched a show about 8 years ago about driving ratty muscle cars and I wondered if this would be a trend that would catch on. Exteriors and interiors didn't matter. It was if they performed well. Guess I was right.

thats how I wound up with a bunch of AMCs........and they hung around for decades
I had 13 third gen B bodies,I am down to five after literally giving a 71 Charger away! I only have one AMC car! It doesn't take up much space!

the problem with driving ratty muscle cars is the mechanical systems are also ratty....... making them unreliable to a point where just blowing the entire car apart is the only logical answer

I'd take a free Charger :poke:
It wasn't pretty!

I'd take a free 71 in any condition, as most would
My friends son was telling me at Carlisle that he was priced out of the Mopar market after seeing the prices of project cars at the show, so I gave him the car if he promised to put it together and make a running driving car out of it!
